I came to Devon when I was just one year old and have been based here ever since.  Having lived in Dartmouth for 17 years my parents moved to the Moor.  My neighbour, the first female National Park Ranger, inspired me to start work for the Dartmoor National Park Authority in 1979. I worked there for over 30 years with 5 years with the Duchy of Cornwall in the middle.

Involvements since have included membership of the Moor Than Meets the Eye Community Steering Group in its first phase;  Trustee of the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust; Sourton Parish Councillor; member of the Bridestowe and Sourton Neighbourhood  Steering Group; and member of the Patients’ Participation Group in Okehampton.
