After spending most of my childhood in West Kirby, on the Wirral, I was accepted into the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Photography. I started working as a commercial photographer in London and eventually I was hired by the BBC to work in their archives department. In this role I also discovered that I was not only passionate about imagery, but also history. After a few years, I left London and moved to New York to start my family, and now I am the proud mother of four adorable children. Two years ago, I decided to return to the UK and chose Devon as my home. While exploring Devon, I discovered the beauty of Dartmoor and decided to work as the social media content creator for the Dartmoor Trust. This role offers me the unique privilege to indulge in my three main passions; photography, history and all Dartmoor has to offer.
