Alli Gibson
Alli was born in Surrey and educated in York and London before setting off to pursue a banking career in the Far East. On holiday from Hong Kong she first came to Dartmoor in 1992 and dreamt of coming to live in the West Country from that moment on. She left banking in 2002 and qualified as an Interior Designer in London, before moving with her husband to Manaton in Dartmoor in 2011 where they are now fully involved in managing their sheep farm in Dartmoor and family business in London. Previously involved with Future Hope Charitable Foundation for Street Children in Calcutta, Alli is now Programme Secretary for The Arts Society Dartmoor (previously Dartmoor NADFAS). A former member of The Choir of King's College London, the Bangkok Music Society and the Sloane Square Choral Society, Alli is a member of the Manaton Show & Fair Committee and she is also a passionate gardener.
