Bickleigh cross

1913 SX521624 The cross stands on the green near the churchyard at Bickleigh. It stands in a base nearly two metres square consisting of two steps, with a modern shaft. The lower step is formed of four granite stones each making a side. The upper step is made of 3 stones laid side by side. On top of this rests the socket stone. The shaft is comparatively modern compared to the head.
