Sheepstor village cross
This cross, standing outside the west gate of Sheepstor church, was restored in 1911 in commemoration of the coronation of King George V in 1910. It is rather unusual in having a raised cross on either face, running right down to the base. Taylor's photograph was taken in 1913, only a few years after the cross had been placed here, and the fresh repairs rejoining the broken arms to the shaft, and around the base, can be clearly seen in the photograph.
