The Devonport leat aquaduct crossing the River Cowsic.

The Devonport leat was constructed at the end of the 18th century to transfer water from the moor to the growing town of Devonport. It covers a distance of 27 miles. This photograph was taken on 13/05/1936. Still in operation but in 2010 it is almost entirely hidden by trees.
