Ringmoor tumulus
Taken on 08/05/1938 of Ringmoor down tumulus or stone circle. There are a number of archaelogical features on Ringmoor Down on the south west edge of Dartmoor, these include, a stone row, stone circles and cairns. This is thought to be the smaller of the stone circles containing some quartz-schorl stones. There is another larger restored stone cirlce measuring 40ft in dameter.
