Devonshire Association outing to Grimspound

00-06-1949 The Devonshire Association was founded in 1862 and its formal objectives are to further the study of Science, Literature and the Arts in relation to the county of Devon and to promote the exchange of ideas with a view to the education of the public. Grimspound is probably the best known prehistoric settlement. There are 24 small hut circles at Grimspound, which are enclosed by a perimeter wall and have a south facing entrance.
