Dartmoor Railway Chairs at Stonehedges

The track of the Plymouth and Dartmoor Railway was, in parts, made up of iron rails secured to granite blocks using these iron chairs. Here, the chairs set into the blocks, minus their rails, are being reused as part of a rockery in the garden of Stonehedges, a family home at Yelverton. 00-05-1958
