Shipley Tor

This is taken on 25th May 1943 looking up to Shipley Tor (975 ft) from the hamlet of Yalland just north of South Brent, on the south eastern edge of Dartmoor. Shipley Tor is the last tor on the eastern ridge of Avon country. Its clitter goes sharply down hill into Shipley gorge.
