Great Mistor and Staple Tor
This picture was taken in 1912 of Great Mistor and Staple Tor from Pew Tor. Great Mistor is 1,768 ft with a broad crenellated top visible from innumerable viewpoints and crowned with a colossal mass of ruined granite. Staple Tor which means 'a tower' with prominent features reminiscent of a tower. It is one of the most notewothy rock masses on Dartmoor.
