Cross, Shaden Brake
00-00-1912 Shaden Brake cross is located near the village of Shaugh Prior. It is the upper portion of an originally larger cross with this section being 3 feet long and 22 inches across. It is roughly made and would probably have had a shaft of another 3-4 feet. Since this photograph it has been set on a replacement shaft in the area known as Shaden Moor.
