Lower Dunnagoat Tor
This image was taken in May 1945 of Lower Dunnagoat Tors one of 2 rock piles of Higher and Lower. The name is thought to derive from 'Dun' celtic for hill and 'coed' celtic for wood. Lower Dunnagoat Tor (1,820 ft)is lower but more impressive than the Higher Tor. There are great views from this point of the middle Rattle Brook valley.
