Holed stone used as a Gatepost at Ringmoor Down

02/08/1939, Ringmoor Down, near Lee Moor. Although captioned "section of a cross" it is seems likely that this was originally a gate hanger or holed gate post. As such it would have lain along the top of the wall as a pivot point for a gate (see DA000254).
