Wash Ford, Lutton
Taken in June 1943 of the Wash Ford at Lutton, a hamlet just north of South Brent on the southern edge of Dartmoor. At this time the road was unpaved. This stream through which the ford is crossing soon after flows in to the River Avon. Note the slab of granite on the right for the use of walkers when the stream is higher and the fine stone wall.
