Cairn on north-west summit of Cox Tor

This photograph, taken on 27/06/1937, shows the cairn on the north-west summit of Cox Tor (also known as Cocks Tor). Cox Tor is an interesting example of the tors on the outskirts of the moor which are composed of metamorphic rock as opposed to the usual granite.
