Ugborough Beacon

Taken in May 1943 of Ugborough beacon on Ugborough moor on the southern edge of Dartmoor at 378 metres from Brent Hill. Ugborough Beacon rocks comprises of three distinct rock piles the remains of a once larger tor. Brent Hill is a prominent landmark on the western edge of Dartmoor and the name Brent means steep, lofty or prominent.
