A Devonshire Association Meeting at Metherall Hut Circle

Taken on 03/06/1936 of the Devonshire Association meeting at Metherall hut circle with the excavator R.H. Worth. These stone circles are now submerged under Fernworthy reservoir excavations. The Devonshire Association was founded in 1862 and its formal objectives are to further the study of Science, Literature and the Arts in relation to the county of Devon and to promote the exchange of ideas with a view to the education of the public.
