Hare Tor

Taken in May 1945 of the summit of Hare Tor on the Western edge of Dartmoor which stands above the Tavy river valley. Hare tor is 1,758ft and comes within the Willsworthy firing range, thus the reason for the flagpost and mast. The two people shown are the photographers wife Marjorie and a family friend called Hallet.
