Crazy Well Pool, Walkhampton Common

This pool, also called Clacey well and Classenwell Pool, is not a natural lake but the result of tin mining. It is spring-filled. Records suggest it is four metres deep. This photograph dates to the same time as DA000106 and DA000108. These show Crazy Well Cross and Crazy Well Pool (30/03/1937).
