Large Cairn at Drizzlecombe
Taken on 01/05/1940, this photograph shows part of the remarkable collection of prehistoric remains at Drizzlecombe. The purpose of this collection of antiquities is unknown, but it is presumed that it would have been for some ceremonial use.
The picture is of the cairn known as the Giant's Basin.
