The Ruins of Redford Farm

1920 Redford Farm lies just below White Hill at Willsworthy. It is also known as Reddaford or Ruddiver.The setting of the farm was used by Eden Philpotts, in a novel entitled "The Whirlwind". There is much evidence of earlier settlements and mining activity. With the Willsworthy firing range being established around 1900 this marked the end of the farm , which has suffered further dilapidation since due to miltary activity in the area.
