Hanger Down Wood

1928 30/12/1934. Clumps of trees on a prominent hilltop are not unusual in the border country of Dartmoor. Remnants of ancient woodlands or more probably in this case deliberately planted. This circular clump is located on Hanger Down between Cornwood and Ivybridge.
