Bedford square, Celebration
This celebration - possibly at Easter time, due to the cross and the angel, is gathering in Bedford square at the heart of Tavistock. The building behind is the Guildhall which was built by the seventh Duke of Bedford in 1848. Tavistock owes much of its development to the Bedford dynasty of Earls and Dukes. The local police force is housed within the Guildhall.
