Brent Hill

Taken in May 1944 of the underhill rocks of Brent Hill. Brent Hill stands at 311m as an outcrop of igneous rock, a bold outline raising sharply above the farmland that surrounds it. It is a visible landmark with an earthwork on the top. Brent means 'steep, lofty, prominent'.
