Hookney tor
This view looks down on Grimspound from Hookney Tor. Grimspound is the remains of an early Bronze age village. The pound encloses 24 huts, several having well preserved entrance passages. The Dartmoor Exploration committee supervised by Robert Burnard and Sabine Baring-Gould excavated 11 of the huts in 1896.
