Holed-stoned gate at Coxtor Farm
This is an unusual example of a holed-stone gatehanger. The type of gate construction seen at Davy Town Farm (DA000015) is the more usual Dartmoor structure. In the case of the Coxtor farm gate, the upright gate post completely pierces the holed-stone hanger. The photograph was taken on 11/06/1940.
