Three barrows
This was taken in May 1942 of one of the three barrows on Ugborough Moor on the southern edge of Dartmoor at 464 metres. They are like man made tors. There is a central cairn with a diameter of over 30 metres and a cairn either side slightly smaller. A barrow or cairn was an ancient burial chamber, a mound of earth covered and marked with stones.
