The Horton and Ruse families on the steps of the "music room" at Brimpts Farmhouse

This photograph was taken by Norman Ruse (1873-1951), an amateur photographer and at one time the Chief Sanitary Inspector of Plymouth. It shows the Ruse family sitting on the steps of the so-called "music room" with Mr and Mrs Horton - the farming family at Brimpts in the early 1900s.
