Merrivale Stone Row

28/04/1937 The eastern part of a stone row in Marrivale, finished with a larger triangular stone. The stone rows in Dartmoor are thought to have been in existence since the second millennium. Their historical purpose remain an enigma, although they are thought to have ceremonial importance.
