Crapstone Down Barrow, Yelverton

This photograph taken on the 25th July 1934 shows a prehistoric burial on Crapstone Down. Sometimes referred to as a "tumulus" (an old term for barrow), it describes a heap of earth over a preshistoric tomb or grave.
