Bertha bridge
29/03/1936 The bridge relates to a Lady Bertha mine located near Buckland Monachorum on the east bank of the Tavy, below Balstone which closed at the end of the 19th century. On the far bank is evidence of past mining activity. The bridge is constructed of wood and is a suspension footbridge. A member of the Taylor family is standing on the bridge.
