Plympton
Taken in 1929 of a view of Plympton from a hill on the south of the town. Plympton is an ancient stannary town situated just east of Plymouth in South West England and the tall granite tower of Plympton St. Maurice can be seen. St. Maurice Church was first mentioned in a deed dated 1300. The Church was probably the domestic chapel of the lords of the Castle, being sited to the east of the Castle ditch. By the middle of the 15th century the church and tower were completed with little change up to the present day.
