Eastern Beacon

Taken in 1941 of a cairn on a ridge NW of Eastern Beacon, Ugborough, on the southern edge of Dartmoor. A cairn is a rounded or conical heap of stones erected by early inhabitants of the British Isles to mark a burial place.
