Rattlebrook

Rattlebrook

Taken in September 1966 of the Rattlebrook, the northern most of the river Tavy's tributaries which feeds into the narrow valley of Tavy Cleave on the western edge of Dartmoor. Its name is thought to derive from the stream 'rattling along' being swift and stony on the bed.
