Church of St Peter, Peter Tavy

Taken in 1913, this photograph shows Peter Tavy church with its fine tower. The octagonal shape of the tower is unusual. It is surmounted by four handsome crocketed pinnacles which are topped with crosses. In 1803, one of these pinnacles was destroyed by lightning. It was restored in 1827.
