Bedford Square, Tavistock

This view looks across Tavistock's Bedford Square to the Town hall and Guildhall which is located at the heart of the town. The Town Hall was completed in 1863 by the seventh Duke of Bedford, of whom there is a statue in Guildhall square. The Guildhall (the nearer building) was also built by the Duke in 1848.
