Yelverton railway line

This picture was taken in 1912 of the Yelverton to Plymouth railway line from the village of Horrabridge on the edge of Dartmoor near Yelverton. When this section of track was laid it was known as a section of the Permanent Way. This is ironic in view of the fact that the track was lifted in the 1960s.
