Belstone Church Tower

This is the tower of St Mary's Church at Belstone. It was built in the 15th century and is the only feature which remains of this medieval building phase. The rest of St. Mary's church was rebuilt in 1881 after it has fallen into disrepair. The tower's battlements are clearly visible in this image dating from June 1926.
