River Meavy Falls
This picture was taken on 24/08/1940 of the River Meavy Falls, also known as the Mewy. The headwaters and principal tributaries of the Mewy drain mostly from the south westerly slopes of a chain of hills extending from N. Hessary Tor above Mewy Head and to Eylesburrow.
The falls are south-east of Black Tor.
