Watern Oke, Tavy Cleave
Taken in September 1966 of the higher reaches of Tavy Cleave. The Cleave is characterised by ever increasing steep slopes as the water runs off the moor and the sides of the Cleave are scattered with rocks. This shows part of Watern Oke the southern most promontery of Amicombe Hill, which is almost surronded by water. In this vicinity are the remains of an Early Bronze age village.
