Unfinished grindstone, Brent Fore Hill

Taken in June 1943 of an unfinished grindstone on Brent Fore Hill. A grindstone or millstone is a flat, circular stone, revolving on an axle, for grinding or sharpening tools, or shaping or smoothing objects. Its diameter is 4ft with a central hole.
