Outside the Post Office at Half Moon

By the 1930s, there was a telegraph office and public telephone at this post office. An email sent to the Archive states - my grandmother Gladys Alma Wreford nee Frost (on the left in the pic) and my great grandmother Alice Harriet Frost (on the right with the hat on), both of whom were postmistresses of this post office before my grandmother moved the post office out to a converted chapel
