The Kestor Hotel shortly after it was built by James Harvey as his home

The Kestor Hotel was built in the early 20th century by James Harvey as his home. It later became a hotel popular with tourists and after World War Two converted to a village pub. In the 1980s it suffered a disastrous fire, but was re-built by Peter Brackenbury. Since then it has changed hands twice.
