Sourton Green Saxon Cross
one and three quarter metre tall stone cross shaft standing on the village green opposite the bizarre Highwayman Inn. The granite stone has been identified as an early Christian, Saxon relic, and it has Os and Xs engraved onto two of its faces. The cross was erected here in 1985 after having been found in a barn at East LinnacombeMap Ref SX534903
