RAF Harrowbeer

The bomb stores lay between two parallel roads. Adjacent to the eastern road is a low brick wall. At a height of about three bricks above ground are a regular series of iron loops. These may have been used to steady the bombs as they were offloaded down the concrete ramps to the stores but their real purpose is uncertain. I would welcome any information on how the bomb dump functioned.
