RAF Harrowbeer
The four permanent brick buildings of the small arms and ammunition stores were arranged in the form of a square, protected by a picket post. They lay close to the bomb store, just beyond the north western perimemeter of the airfield. It is possible that the buildings were painted to resemble a farmyard and that the central circular feature was a pond. The base of the most northerly store (Building 39) can be seen in the foreground.
