RAF Harrowbeer

This circular, brick built pillbox, with concrete roof, has four rifle slits (one of which is shown here) and is amongst the buildings on the technical site. A circular well in the middle of the lid may have been an anti aircraft position. This structure clearly played an important role in the airfield defences.
