RAF Harrowbeer
The Domestic sites were dispersed around the south western side of the airfield. Domestic Site 9 comprised barrack huts, sergeants and officers quarters, each with adjacent latrines and a static water tank. Huts were placed near to the hedgerows for camouflage and to protect from bomb blast. The brickwork in the picture is likely to be the remains of the airmen's latrines.
