RAF Harrowbeer

The Domestic sites were dispersed around the south western side of the airfield. Domestic Site 10 comprised barrack huts, sergeants and officers quarters, each with adjacent latrines and a static water tank. Huts were placed near to the hedgerows for camouflage and to protect from bomb blast. The concrete base and drainage grid are part of Hut 270, a timber hut for officers.
